Bahlsen Express Cookie Tin

Bahlsen Express keks - u. waffelmischung tin. Bahlsen introduced cookies sold in this "Express" tin in 1933 and continued selling them in virtually the same exact tin until about the 1950s.  The "Express" refers to the ease of opening the can which opens with a twist.

It is impossible to say with certainty which era these ones are from. Bahlsen did start marking their tin with "Made in Western Germany" sometime in the 50's so this is from before that because it doesn't have that marking.

This one is in decent condition; it has some light wear and rust. The bottom is a little dented. It could be cleaned and used.
