Original German wool blanket. It does have some scattered small stains and moth nibbles. A small section of the surging has come undone. This is an earlier blanket and could even be WWI or earlier, I have a creme colored example from the 1880's! It is a good example of a "text book" German Army blanket. It is heavier than most blankets as well. I am unsure when they switched to gray from this white/creme color but it appears to be around the late 1930's.
