Nice 1930's/40's XOX waffle cookie tin. The "express" twist off lid was introduced in the mid 30's. This one is a little worn and it looks like the lid may have been burnt a bit, maybe by a candle. Still would make a great unit cookie jar. Many civilian food items like this found their way to the front. It measures 14 cm in diameter and 12.5 cm tall.
